Infected foot (cellulitis)= IV antibiotics at Hosp.

Just wonder if anyone has ever worn new shoes opening the backs of their heels, and then a couple days later had an extremely infected foot that landed them in the hospital getting IV antibiotics for two days. If so, how long did you wait to work out and or what are some things you could do to work out? I'm so drained since I've stopped working out and it's not been a week. Crazy huh?!!!!
