Hey everyone,

normally I don't take advantage of the message board feature on these types of sites, but I figured I'd at least introduce myself a little so if in the future I could use a little support...

I'm a 26-year-old grad student (American but living abroad) and I weigh about 245 pounds, so I'm trying to get down to 200 right now. I've lost large amounts of weight before (40-50 pounds) but always seem to lose steam right as I start to really benefit from the results. Sometimes I think that it's because when I see the progress, I sort of think hey, haven't I done enough?

So right now I've started to be a bit harder on myself because I'd like to lose a bit faster, and because I do best with a strict regimen. I'm eating a base diet of 1200 calories a day, doing C25K three days a week and 30-day shred. (Hey, I'm a grad student with no money for the gym). I do generally consume the 'extra' exercise calories because I do start to feel a bit hungrier and out of focus when I don't.

Anyway, that's about it. Good luck to all of us!
