New to the food scale

Hi-

I just got a food scale from Amazon...or rather the notice that it has been delivered to my apartment. I'm excited to come home and use it for the first time, but for the veterans, could you please give me any tips/pointers?

Doesn't measure liquids.

    easy peasy! If yours has a button for Tare you just put a dish on it, hit tare and the display resets to 0. Not measure your food.
