Plateau getting me down

For the last several weeks I have been at a major plateau. Going up and down between 1-3 lbs. Not losing more! I need to lose about another 10 lbs or so to get to my goal and it is soooo hard. I have been eating 1200 calories for the last 5 1/2 months. I work out at the very least 5 times a week, but have a desk job.I was going to try to eat back my exercise calories, but it still seems like I am not eating enough to get my body going again. So i upped my calories to 1400 and will try to net that even with exercise daily. :/

Has anyone else had success upping calories to lose weight? I do not really want to gain back anything that I have lost as it has taken a very long time to get where I am today.

I am very frustrated!

Yes, i hit a 3 week plateu at 1400 + eating exersize calories and so decided to go to 1600 + eating exersize calories.... since then i've dropped another 20lbs... think i've hit another plateu so i'm going to up again, but i was going to anyway as i'm starting P90x which is a different way of eating anyway (more calories tho!)!...

    Hope that helps!

You need a diet break. Read here: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/the-full-diet-break.html

I didn't take one and plateaued/regained for 9 months. Just take a 1-2 week break and then back to the deficit.
