Power 90 - On carpet, do I need shoes?

I started Power 90 last night. Started with the Sweat 1-2 workout. The carpet I am working out on is comfortable to walk around on and wasn't too hard when I was doing the routine. My question is: is it bad to excercise like that without wearing shoes? Will I be at a higher risk of injury? I already plan on trying it next time with my shoes on to see if there is a difference. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

I have been doing P90X mostly barefoot on carpet without any major issues. I wear shoes for Plyometrics and for the Legs and Back, since those routines hit the knees very hard, but the others I do barefoot. Mostly it is a comfort issue. Try it both ways and see how what works for you.0

I do P90X and Turbo fire, if you are just doing the weights portion then barefoot is probably okay, but any running/jumping you should wear shoes0
