The Talk...without Make Up.

What you need to remember about being in a studio like that you'll be under alot of light so they're going to look a lot worse then what they do on the screens.
I wear it to work as I am customer facing sales role and it gives a good impression, there is a section in the contract a bit like a air stewards one where it kinda says that we are required to present ourselves to our 'manager's discretion' to which they're all told a basic level of make up. I have no issues with it.
Out of work it depends, never to the gym (think of the pores ) if I'm meeting up with someone or seeing my maaaan then yeah I'll pop it on but more often then not I won't apply it if I don't have to.0 -
I go natural most of the time... but when I go out, I wear it. It helps me feel sexy0

I never wear make up, I just don't feel the need to. If I am going out for a meal or want my boyfriend to see me in a 'sexy way' then I might wear a little but I can't remember the last time I actually wore it! I think my skin is soooo much more healthy without it and I never get spots either!0

I only wear makeup on the weekends.. I love it... but it is a ponytail and no makeup every day for this chicka!!! Then when I do put on makeup and fix my hair on the weekends.. WATCHOUT!!! J/K LOL!!! My husband will be like what do you think your doing?? LOL!!!0

I wear it almost every day, just a moderate amount. On the weekends or if I am going out, I have all the paint on. I feel naked without it.0

My hair is naturally light auburn but dyed black, so I look quite pinkishly pale without makeup on. I use a light foundation, and darken my brows and lashes. I do enjoy a bit of eyeshadow sometimes, but only if I'm looking to pretty it up. I've recently fallen in love with a dark brown and bronze palatte, so I've been doing that almost every day. Nothing heavy most of the time, but black eyeliner can be awfully fun when done correctly. I stay away from lipstick 90% of the time, I always feel like it looks too obviously made-up.
I don't feel like it's a mask, it's just helping to bring out my good aspects :P0 -
I wear a tinted moisturizer/sunscreen daily, A wee bit of powder and blush and eyeliner on work days. That is about it.0

TBH, I just feel ugly without make up, I know that is negative and I hope other girls don't feel that way. I've seen many beautiful faces without make up.
Can't leave the house and be seen without makeup. Unless its one of my close girl friends, or my sister.
Same. Plus I'm a MUA so my face is how I sell my craft.0 -
I rarely wear make up. MAYBE once a week.. prob more like once every week and half. I just wash my face, put on some lotion and call it a day.0

Day to Day I wear no make up. No foundation no cover up. People always think I have on make up but it's my natural skin. I believe they think I have on make up because I have good even tone complexion and no acne. When I do wear make up my go to staples are eye shawdow, eyeliner, mascara and chapstick and then magic. I love eye make up. Evey blue moon if it's a very special event I'll wear loose mineral power. I know lots of women who wouldn't dare leave the house without make up. I feel like make up is an accessory not a necessity.0

I nearly always wear make-up.
But the idea is, I am taking care of my skin.
Plus, it just makes me feel more awake.
It's never heavy, just looks natural.0 -
I wear make-up every day.
Different strokes for different folks. One is not better than the other. One is not more right than the other.0 -
I only wore makeup for my wedding to give me an even skin tone in the pics. I requested that it be very light and "natural looking." Other than that, I never touch the stuff. Just not my thing.0
-
The only time i wear makeup is for weddings. Even then, unless it was my own, I go with just a bit of mascara and some lip stick and maybe eye shadow. I have to borrow my sisters and have her help me b/c i'm hopeless at it.
I've always been really active (except for when injured) and makeup and martial arts just don't mix, so I never got into it.0 -
I can't be bothered to wear make up if I am not going anywhere special.
My make up costs a lot, I don't want to waste it unless I am going somewhere special.
If I am going to the grocery store or something... Yeah I won't bother putting make up on.0 -
I wear a moderate amount of make up most days. Occassionally Ill have a make up less day on the weekends.0
-
I don't wear make up all the time and when I do I don't look like I'm wearing make up. If I change the color of my eyeshadow or do my eye liner a little bit thicker than normal then I get the "You're wearing make up!" comment which is kind of funny.0

I go without make up at home. But if I go out I put on eyeliner and make sur my hairs not a mess. That's all I do. Sometimes I wear eyeshadow too cus sometimes It's nice to have a little color. But I never wear lipstick. My lips are my favorite feature on myself and so I tell myself don't mess with the perfection that is your mouth LOL0

I wear makeup every day. Partly because I am a super pale girl... and partly because I love playing with makeup! I enjoy doing my makeup and I like mixing it up and trying different products. I'm a creative person so I guess it is something that I just feel the "need" to do!
I could spend hours in Sephora.0 -
I wear mascara every day or I feel like my eyelashes are nonexistent. Often eyeliner as well.
I wear lip balm, sometimes a gloss. Never lipstick.. I just think it looks strange on me.
I only really wear powder, eyeshadow, etc when I'm going somewhere and/or dressing up.0 -
I could spend hours in Sephora.
I think I do! LOL.0 -
I go with how I feel.
Some days I wake up and feel like wearing makeup..............other days I don't and I go natural.0 -
I do and I have always love cosmetics, but I don't put it on every day. For work I do eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. The same if I'm hanging out. I try not to wear anything else. I have naturally tanned skin and I like to show it. But for an event, I definitely do it and I love it.0

I just watched a video on CNN about the recent The Talk show where the hosts went without makeup. I read a few blogs and news sites and there was a lot of commentary about how they need to put their makeup back on.
Do you ladies wear makeup daily? Is it really that bad to go 'natural'?
I occasionally put on some mascara and some lip balm, but I rarely ever go full-face makeup unless I'm attending an event. I feel like a dying breed.
Its a drag to put on makeup ever day... at least to me it is... I work at a tow yard and rarely ever see people other then the guys i work with.
I come dressed however i want, hair however i want and i dont wear makeup. i own it, im great at putting on makeup and eyeshadows, but i dont find it necessary to get all dolled up to sit in front of a computer all day.
i wear face moisturizer, fill in my eyebrows and curl my eyelashes and that's it. (i don't even have to do my eyebrows, since i dont tweeze them)
2 days ago my mom actually called me out on it.. she said." what happened, u used to do ur hair so pretty and your makeup always looked amazing" ... work sucks is what happened. maybe im in the wrong too... idk? all i know is still havent perfected my eyeliner so it does take me a while to get ready, and im always rushing out of the house..0 -
If I go without makeup, people tend to ask if I am either sick, in a bad mood, or have something else wrong  I wear foundation, eyeliner and mascara without fail most every day... and LOVE bright red lipstick. If I go with NOTHING... I still wear eyeliner :blushing:
When i worked in the corporate world i used to do that too.. wear make up and look nice.. but one day comes along that you dont wear it and everyone is constantly asking if im sick or hungover... or in a bad mood.. and its annoying.. cause i just didnt feel like wearing it... so now that i dont wear it often.. and when i do people say i look good. versus.. are u sick? hahaha0 -
I know girls who pile on the makeup every day and look great, but when it comes off -- yikes! Also, people who wear a bunch of bronzer and fake lashes, etc. start to look a little fake after a certain point. Makeup should add to your natural beauty, not paint on a whole new face!
I usually just wear mascara most days, maybe a little eyeliner or bronzer if I'm going out on a weekend or something. I own boxes and boxes of makeup, but usually I don't feel like putting in the time or the effort first thing in the morning.0
