About two years ago, I got a seamstress's mannikin for Christmas; I weighed around 240, and it was the largest size they sold. I resized it when I hit 175, and it was extremely gratifying to see 'my body' shrink all at once. That was late last year.

Not the best picture, but you can see how it was still gaping a little bit at the sides. That outfit was about a size 14.

I've been struggling to lose the last ten, like a lot of people do. The scale will. not. move. Still, I bought a dress the other day and I wanted to build the outfit on Judy this morning, so I tried to put the dress on. It didn't fit. So I re-did my measurements, and tried to resize the mannikin again...No dice. She was not made to be as small as I am now. So I turned the wheels as far as they would go and then overlapped the panels a little bit to get the right measurments for this dress:

So yeah, I have totally failed to Meet My Goal Weight, but even as I fussed and obessed over the last 10, my body continued to shrink. :drinker:

Thanks guys! That was my first instinct, but my superstitious nature suggests that I wait until I've maintained for a year or so...I don't want to tempt the Fat Fates.
