I hear that jams and jellies aren't very good for you because they're loaded up with sugar, so I thought of making my own, but I'm not much for boiling the fruit, sterilizing the jars, etc., etc. Plus, I don't eat that much jam. Anyway, I happened to have some berries in the freezer, so I defrosted about 1/4c each of blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries in the fridge, and then blended it up. That's it; nothing added. Spread it generously on a piece of toast; sooo good, and low-cal, since there's no added sugar. Actually, the amount I made was way too much to even fit on the toast, so I mixed the leftovers in with my strawberry yogurt; also good, but I prefer the whole berries in my yogurt for a different texture. Anyway, I think that's what I'll do from now on (with whatever fruit I have on hand) when I make toast. I'm trying to put the picture in here; hope it works (never done the picture thing before)

Sounds yummy, I do almost the same thing for my pancakes, only I boil it to reduce it to more of a sauce. :flowerforyou:0
