Back at the gym

So I started back at the gym today, and I'm unsure of how I really feel about the gym.. I like that it has everything I need. The issue is that you can hear the treadmills like the moving of the roller, and some of the elipticals klunk when you move them.. Am I being to finicky?.. I used the treadmill for 20 mins today, and some of the weights .. ( 1 set of 20 reps )... I'm tryin to ease myself back into it.. I dunno thoughts?.. I feel like I am not really useing the gym pass / being fussy about the machines?..
Thoughts?

    So, is the equipment dangerous to use?

    Also, the 1 set of 20 reps....just google new rules of lifting for women.

    I cannot survive the gym without my iPod. It's an essential part of my gym kit, I need the music nice and LOUD to get into my zone.
