Reducing anti-depressants & weight management

This week i've been dropping my Citalopram from 20mg to 10mg doing alternate days, but noticed my appetite has been up and down, which I know is normal, along with feeling more tired. All I know will pass as I was on 30mg previously.
I've not been keeping track of what i've been eating lately as I couldn't focus due to work and want to start again. Would it be a good or bad idea to start tracking weight and exercise while i'm also dropping my medication or wait until things settle down in a few weeks time?
Citalopram may go under the name Celexa outside the UK.
