After a few month hiatus from MFP, I'm trying to get back into it. My partner was recently reading Michael Pollan's In defense of food, and I got a little inspired. I think i'm going to try to mostly eat by his simple rule: eat food, not too much, mostly plants. Here is an article about some of his food rules: www.webmd.com/food-recipes/news/20090323/7-rules-for-eating. I would be interested in friend-ing others on MFP who have a similar attitude toward food.

Just read the article, it's very interesting. And I do agree that the food industry is actually making us sick. Don't buy anything that contains artificial substances whose names you can't even pronounce! (to paraphrase him.) Thanks for sharing!
