Exercise ball substitute

I'm home and on the couch and totally not able to put weight on my foot due to a stress fracture...
I have been working at the gym and gotten pretty heavy (for me anyways)
So I have some resistance bands I'm going to use to try not to loose my strength...
I also do sit ups on the exercise ball... I've gotten up to 72 (my goal is 200 in a setting by christmas) and I don't want to lose my progress... I can't do them on the ground because of an injury to my cocyx many years ago... Can I substitute something for the ball?
I might be feeling better in a couple weeks to make it back to the gym... I'm trying to figure out how since I am supposed to use crutches or a knee scooter for four weeks then "as tolerated"... Sigh... Maybe my gym will let me bring my scooter?!?!

Not sure I don't really do direct core work, its not that effective for fat loss...
Your gym should allow a scooter or what ever it is, my gym allows this guy in a wheel chair to work out.0 -
do you have any dumbbells at home?
You could do arm curls, over head press, maybe lateral raises...etc etc...0 -

I know it isn't... but it helps to strengthen my core to make my other workouts which ARE effective for fat loss (cycling, climbing, bouldering, etc) easier and therefore more fun...do you have any dumbbells at home?

I don't... I pretty much passed them down when I got to the point I was doing >50# on most exercises... and I never had any as heavy as what I lift at the gym... but I have resistance bands... which I know are no where near what I was doing at the gym... are at least SOMETHING,...
I am more concerned with the abs... I have a hard time with stuff on the floor... because of my cocyx...0 -
DO you have a body pillow? Or can you put some couch cushions on the floor and lay on that to do your abs?
That would keep pressure off your cocyx.
What about 3 point planks with no pressure on the bum foot.
If you have resistance bands you can always double or triple them to get more resistance0
