Frustrated with 1200 calories!!

I have enjoyed my journey thus far, however, once my calorie intake was lowered to 1200 a day I haven't lost a pound in over 3 weeks!!! Super irritated! I have hit a plateau 2 other times, but only for two weeks and I was able to overcome. It just seems that when I ate between 1400-1550 calories a day I had more success. Any suggestions or ideas before I plunge into a giant pail of ice cream??? lol

Yup, my suggestion is that you eat more than 1200 calories!
It looks like you're not too far from your goal in which case you might find that a more realistic goal (like 1/2 pound a week) gives you a reasonable amount of cals to eat while still letting you lose weight. It might be slower, but the reality is that most people find that it takes more time to lose the weight once you are close to goal. Better to be losing slowly and getting into good habits that you can keep up for the long term than to starve yourself, get frustrated and give up and dive into that icecream!0 -
go ahead and eat more! You can manually adjust your calorie goal so it's higher than that- if you did well at 1400 or 1500, do that! 1200 is the lowest default mfp will give you, not many of us can do that long term!0

Thanks for the advice. Gonna give it a whirl, and for the record, I avoided the ice cream;) LOL0
