Hi. I just need some suggestions because I'm sick of not losing any weight for months on end.
I need to lose 5 kilograms but I can't seem to be able to lose 1.
I eat around 1600-1700 a day, usually. (of course I have days where I eat more, and days where I eat less)
I also train intensely 6-8 times a week, doing cardio and lifting weights.
But even though I have continued doing this for a while, I have not lost a single inch anywhere. It's pretty frustrating.

Any advice for the last 5 kilograms?

  • You might need to increase your daily intake. Sometimes it helps.

You might need to change up WHAT you're eating, not just how many calories. Also you might want to look into calorie cycling. Good luck!

This animation from YouTube might be helpful. I realize that is probably something you already know, but sometimes it is helpful to have the visual presentation.

    This animation specifically discusses plateaus.

If the link doesn't work, then search for "How Does Exercise Impact Weight Loss?" on YouTube.
  • okay cool thanks :) I'll try those things for the next few weeks.
