Hello! New to MFP

Hi all!
I thought I’d stop lurking and join in on the conversation. The success stories and before/after pictures have been so heartwarming and motivating. Kudos to all who are taking it day-by-day to reach their goal, and to those who have already reached it.
I’m 32 years old and 6’ feet tall with a “pear” shaped body (I carry most of my weight on my hips and thighs). I’ll never be “thin”, but my goal is to be closer to the lower end of my normal weight range (before I started dieting, I was about 10-15 lbs overweight, which was a result of office life and lunches).
I have about 12 more lbs to go before I reach my weight loss goal (and from there, I need to work on my fitness goal).
I’ve been blogging my weight loss journey, but recently found MFP and find the community is much more motivating than trying to do it all alone.
I look forward to one day sharing my success with the rest of you!
