How many kcals are in airplane food?

Just the basic dinner they give you in the little container. Usualy something like: Mash, 2 sausages, beans and some veg. With a small cake snack, 2 crackers, bread roll, and orange juice.

There's never going to be a set value, but I flew the other day, and this is what I got for calories -
Dinner:
SIDE Smoked salmon 78cal
Cream cheese 18cal
MEAL Lemon chicken 156cal
Egg noodles 94cal
Carrots (boiled) 4 cal
DESSERT Carrot cake 132cal
White chocolate 6cal
TOTAL: 488cal
Breakfast:
Strawberry yoghurt and granola 161cal
Pancakes 176cal
Butter 15cal
Smoked salmon 78cal
TOTAL: 430cal
Not by any stretch of the imagination perfect meals but really not as terrible as it seems either.0 -
It's hard to say, as each meal would vary, but if I were to hazard a guess......maybe somewhere between 400 and 500 calories?0
