Personal Trainer helping me past my plateaus

I've been working out with a trainer at 24 fitness for a little over a month now.
(and watching my diet with MFP)

He basically taught me the areas I needed to strengthen and the areas to stretch and loosen up.
I would never have guessed at what he has been teaching me.
I've been researching exercise training and have been working out for more than 15 years.
I haven't been able to dunk for about 8 years now.

I already feel like my vertical leap has increased by an inch or two already.
For me, who has been stuck touching 10'3" for many years now, that's a big accomplishment.

I need those extra 4-6" to dunk, and with my trainer, I think I might be able to do it this time.

Honestly, I've always been pretty good with food, and MFP is only a slight help to me.
But it is a great tool, and I enjoy using it.

Good luck to us all on our fitness journey.
:D

That is awesome! I never could dunk!:ohwell: I did see one woman (way back in "my day") dunk a basketball....Peggy Cable from Clemson University. It was amazing! Unfortunately...I was the point guard on my college team and vertical jumps were never my thing. I would scrap you in a heartbeat for the ball though!
