NEED HEADPHONES!!!

Options
Hey Guys,

Since I started working out 7 months ago I have ruined a pair of Skullcandy, Nike, and academy brand headphones. I need new headphones and wanted to see what everyone else recommends. I LOVED my skullcandy headphones, but buying a $100 set of headphones every 3 months hurts! Sweat proof would be awesome!!!

Thanks!

I love klipsch s4 series with the foam barrels from etymotic.

s4's can be had for under 50 at times and the foam eartips are abount 12$ for 6 pairs. 1 pair of tips lasts at least a month.

Also just to add, if you want decent earbuds really cheap, monoprice.com sells $5.75 per pair and who cares when they break. Amazingly I am using the same pair for a year and they sound pretty good. Item #8319 for direct in the ear and 8320 for a side inserted over the ear cable. The over the ear hurts my ear canal so I cant wear them.

I use Yurbuds "Inspire". Sweat and water resistant. They are a twist lock technology, so they don't fall or get pulled out of your ears. I use them when I am running, and they are wonderful. You can clean them too.

My hubby runs every day and swears by his Sony MDR-AS30G headphones. Cost about £20, do need to be replaced every 6 months or so but at that price he doesn't mind and says they are really comfy.

I agree, the Klipsch S4 noise cancelling headphones are awesome. I have had mine for two years and work out everyday with them. Never had an issue. My wife and both kids have the same ones and no one has ever had an issue. The sound is absolutely fantastic. You can buy them for under $ 80 on the internet. Cut and paste the info below to take a look.

I have a pair of over-the-ear Sony headphones that I think I paid $2 for on Amazon. They have lasted longer than any other pair I've ever had (Skull Candy were awful) and they stay in my ears even running outside in Florida in July and August.

I have a pair of skullcandy I think they are called Chops... I got them for $15 at TjMaxx. They have lasted me almost a year now...

I use them both for lifting and running.

I found the most awesome headphones in January for only $5 at academy!! They are still working great!
They have withstood exercising 5-6 days a week a lot of sweat and I've even run in the rain with them several times!!

They are by iWorld - I have a pic of them but not sure how to post on here.
They are called "Bling ear buds" - probably not good for a guy LOL but maybe they make them without the bling.
