I am training to walk a half marathon and thought that Mapmyrun app would help, but I can't seem to figure out how to map a random walk. Can anyone point my in the right direction on our to route a walk?

I use MapMyWalk for walking - no real difference though.
Not sure what you mean on the question...I just turn on my GPS and go...?0 -
Yep - turn on the GPS, once it has a good signal, hit start or record route or whatever and go. Then stop it when you're done.
Sorry, I don't use it anymore so I don't remember the exacts, but it should be pretty straight forward.0 -
You have to make sure that your "Location" is turned on for MapMyRun. For iPhones, it is under your preferences of the phone... if you don't turn it on, I believe that MapMyRun puts you in Africa somewhere. Once you have that turned on, you hit Record... it will take you to a new screen that has options of what you are going to be doing, then hit Record again and it will start tracking your walk/run.0
