Tuesday, red carpet at Fashion Week... they asked me what designer I was wearing when I signed release forms. My best friend got to be there with me, so it felt like my first time instead of my fourth. It was a day when my insides felt like theyd been beaten to death with a bag of ice, but Im glad that I got up, put on my dress and went anyway.

Staying home drinking and running for 3 hours on no fuel arent always the best ways to handle gut punches. Sometimes you have to bite down hard and go out in the sunshine.

What a lovely post. I'm with you - my favourite thing about 'after' shots is not necesarily the shrinkage, but how much happier and confident people seem to look. It's a joy to behold.

I'm still working my tail off to get more confident. when I finally started measuring things it helped a lot because the weight didn't budge for a while.

I love this! I've never really liked photos of myself . . . but I worked my *kitten* off and wanted to surprise my hubby for our 6th anniversary with some boudoir pics, (something I NEVER thought I'd do!) and it turned out it was the best thing I could have done for myself. My profile pic is my absolute favorite pic I have of myself, and last night my husband finally noticed that I was using it (I have MFP open on the computer 24/7). He asked why I was using that pic and my reply was simply "because I love it"! Never really been able to say that before
Just an FYI ladies . . . when you are feeling comfortable in your own skin, no matter what your shape or size, get a photo shoot done, especially if you never thought you would! It is the most freeing, self confidence boosting experience EVER!

I have thought about having this done when I reach my goal. Love your photo by the way it is absolutely beautiful!
