Push it.

I have been doing 3 miles everyday for the past week.. this includes running.. then walking.. then running then walking. Yesterday I decided to push it and went almost 4.5... How can I go back when i know I can do it? I feel like a lot of this is mental. Though my foot is screaming that its physical today. I typically dance for 30 or more minutes then go out for a little over an hour to walk and run. Is there anything anyone else is doing that seems to be working at home? How do you push yourself to the extra limit? how to you stay motivated?
