I was fitted for new running shoes yesterday. I have it narrowed down to the Sauconh Triumph and Brooks PureFlow. I am leaning towards the PureFlow (love how light weight it was). I have read you need to transition it in because of the lower heal 4 mm versus the 12 mm on my current Saucony).
What is the best way to trasition the shoe in? How long does the process usually take. I have a half on 10/21 and wonder if I be ok to wear them.

I bought a pair of the Brooks PureFlow a couple of months ago and their great! I switched them out every other run for a couple of weeks then they were fine. However I only run about 3-4 miles 3 times a week. I recommend them all the time they feel great and they did help me cut some time off my runs. :-)0
