Mud Run Calories

I am attempting my 1st mud run on Saturday :frown: :noway: and yes I know there are tons of variables. It is a 5K w/ like 15 obstacles. I don't have and can't at the time afford a HR monitor but I'd still like credit for some of that exercise. I am 165lbs 5'10. How do you think I should log calories burned. They will give out completion times at the end of the race so at least I'll know how long it took.

any ideas/input is welcome :smile:

    Figure out what a reasonably burn would be for a 5k, then increase by about 10%
