Opinions appreciated :)

Most of the week I can only get in one approximately hour long work-out. On the days that I am able should I try and double up on the work-outs?

I'd say yea if you are only working on 1 day a week for 1 hour.....

Could you find more days to do a workout in for at least 30 minutes? Or try doing 10 minute workouts 3-6 times a day?

No one says you have to get all your workouts in on one sitting...you can break them up in sections if that's all the time you have.
  • Ha so now I realize I said I only work-out once a week for an hour. What I meant to say is I work-out about five days a week for an hour and would only be able to double up on the work-outs one or two days a week...

Why do you feel the need to increase your exercise? That's a good amount already. I work out on average 5 times a week for 45 min to an hour and a half depending on what I'm doing (45 min running vs. 1.5 hrs for cycling)
  • Not necessarily feeling a need to increase my exercise. Was just a thought I had today and wondered what opinion others had. Five days a week for an hour at a time is a good amount for me as about a month ago I was doing none.

I think that's a great amount. Oh man, I'd love to get that much of an organized workout in! Go girl! :drinker:

If you have time and enjoy it sure. Maybe take one of your days where you have extra time and lower your typical workout a bit and add something new. For instance if you typically do an hour of cardio, try doing 30min of cardio and an hour of wieghts or vice versa.

If it will put a strain on your day, stick with the frequency you have, but change it up from time to time.

Depends on how you feel about working out. I'm addicted to it so I love being at the gym and wish I had more time there.

If you dont like working out, then do how much ever you can without burning out. If you burn out you will hate the gym and possibly stop going.
