Need some vegan friends on MFP

I just started eating Vegan and need some Vegan inspiration on MFP. Anyone out there? If so, i have been extreemely hungry and eat like every two hours. I am exersicing a lot so I don't know if my metabolism is just crazy or if I am crazy for being hungry.

HELP!

    How much are you eating? If you exercise a lot you are burning a lot of calories and may need to eat some back or adjust what you're eating.

    I'm not a vegan, but your problem may be that you aren't getting enough protein.

    Make sure that you have a good source of protein whenever you are eating carbohydrates. The carbohydrates give your body a quick blood sugar fix, but the protein takes longer to digest and gives you more satiation.

    So, when you have a meal or a snack make sure that in addition to the carbs you add a protein source (tofu, beans, or whatever meat alternative your vegan diet allows).

    Otherwise you are going from blood sugar rush to blood sugar crash over and over throughout the day and that is what is making you hungry.
