I'm still working toward getting leaner especially through the stomach and upper thighs. I grew up being athletic, but have never had my fat measured. Until now.

I got introduced to this whole MFP thing in late June this year, and it has been wonderful in keeping me motivated and accountable. I had lost some weight, but plateaued and felt soft. So, to my heros like Andrea who introduced me to this, A HUGE thank you.

My other heros:
-- Any woman or man who is more than 50 pounds overweight and have been that way for more than 10 years, and are making changes in their life to lose weight!!!
--Any woman who started lifting weights and didn't listen to the bulky myth--you guys inspire me and I'm seeing results. I feel strong again.
-- That woman who writes the hilarious blog saying things like "that b*tch never saw it coming" and she means completing her yoga workout video @ 4:30 in the morning.
--Anyone who's been on high-blood pressure meds and have chosen the exercise path to get off of them.
I love you guys!!
*The Big Lebowski. And, if you don't get it well, obviously, you're not a golfer.

YEAH B*TCH!!!!
So last night at the gym, I was doing my deadlifts and a guy congratulated me on lifting . I had just finished a set that was officially more than I weight so I had to brag a little  some woman was listening in and actually came over to me afterwards to ask me about my goals . since i had "weight loss" in there she tried to tell me about how lifting weights that large would make me bigger. I just laughed and told her that over the past 9 months lifting heavy as made me SO HUGE that I've had to change my jeans size from a 20 to a 12. so i guess in backwards land I got bulky :laugh:0
