What About The Measurements?

One thing I've noticed is we focus on weight/calories but what about measurements - sometimes one might not lose weight but lose inches.

I think it's great to keep track of measurements!

You can do it right on MFP, in the "Check-In". Those stay completely private, too.

I have lost 5 inches on my hips and 9 inches in my waist in 5 months. A lot of us do the measurements, but I usually look at them on my weeks where my weight remains the same. The reason I am focused on my weight is because my BMI puts me just over the obese mark, and once I lose another 5 pounds, I will not be obese anymore. That is a huge milestone goal for me.
  • I use MFP for my daily food and exercise tracking, but I use my Fitday software as my main way to track my weight and measurements. It makes the data easier to follow, makes graphs, etc.
