Question/ while losing weight

I dnt know my weight fluctuation honestly I don't. I weigh in every 2 1/2 weeks and then weigh in at the end of the month and record that number. Since I'm very disciplined with my diet and excercise I don't obsess over the scale too much. But my question was is it normal to lose 1 lb a week then 2 then +1lb then - 4 lbs? Lol it all averages out monthly to about 2.1 lbs lost a week over a 2 month span.

    My weight has been known to fluctuate up to 5lbs. It depends on so many factors.
    But yes, I think it is perfectly normal.

    Yes its normal for a lot of people. When I started here it was not regular for me, then for several months when I ate pretty much the same calories every day, and exercised the same way, I steadily lost 2 lbs a week. Now I'm on an irregular schedule and I can go a week and not lose, then lose 1 lb one day and another lb the next.

    5 pound window is pretty normal for me too.

    Their are a great set of reference articles in the General diet and weightloss section Newbies please read and Links within mfp that you will want to read and read again. Most of these were posted by MFP member BANKS a couple af years back. I read through those last evening and it mad so much since. I wish I had read those back when I started before I hit the wall. Now I feel back on track and as a reward I had lost a pound this morning.
