Ok, If I drink the recommend daily water amounts and more. I end up making numerous trips to the bathroom all day long. In other words, I pee a lot! My urine at times is almost "clear" in color.
My question, is that to be expected? Any health issues I should be aware of?

I have never heard of any adverse health risks to drinking water. maybe if you drink until your stomach blows. I drink at least 8 usually 12 to 16 cups of water a day my urine is mostly clear by the afternoon and our medics say that is an indicator of proper hydration. Keep drinking you will be fine.

  • well seeing that most of your body is water, it is a good idea to keep it filled up. If you are peeing clear pee that is absolutely perfect. It is when your pee is very yellow or even orange, this means that your bodies out put of fluid are wayyyyyyy to concentrated and can lead to infection. It is a good thing to be clear means very diluted and that is exactly what you want. The less you drink the less you pee and the longer that super concentrated pee stays in your system. Dilute it down and get it out and fill your bodies main ingredient at the same time. Hope this helps.

One should be able to see through their pee it is a sign of healthiness and that you are getting enough. I am the one who scopes out the bathroom everywhere I go...I am in there all the time...trust me.

I just wanted to add something to the drinking water issue. It seems to me, through experience at different times in my life, when I begin to drink the 8 glasses of water I should be drinking, it takes a while for my body to adjust and it seems like I pee all the time. I really don't though, it's just different than the two or three times a day I normally go. But after a while, like everything else, my body adjusts and I don't have to go as often, and I don't wake up in the middle of the night or morning having to go either. So if this is something new for you, just know that it will probably balance out over time.

i am the same way. i have been religious about drinking my 8 glasses a day for a while now and i don't have to go to the bathroom as much as i did when i first started.
