I stopped loosing weight !!!

I started about 2 months ago. The first week i lost 4 pounds. then I started loosing 2 pounds a week. During the previous 2 months I cheated however I made sure that i balance it with the needed workout.

Week 9 and week 10 i did not lose anything and my weight is stuck. It is not going up nor down. I tried taking less calories, I tried going to the gym I tried eating a bit over my calories thinking maybe my body went into starvation mode.

Did someone face this problem before? What can I do? Or is this normal

  • your just on a plateau. It's normal and it happens to everyone. Just keep working out and eating right and you WILL lose weight. I've had plateaus that lasted a couple of months but then i did start losing weight again.

    very natural. I have have a few of those over the last 9.5 months. I sometimes will go weeks without losing, and then all of a sudden i will lose 3 or 4 pounds.

    If you just keep eating right, exercising, and staying right around your alloted calories you will lose. My suggestion to you is don't weight more than once a week, tops. If you can, go every 2 weeks. Your weight will vary from day to day due to increased water retention caused by sodium, etc... and seeing such fluctuations can be depressing., so weighing less often shows bigger results. :)

    Keep at it, you will get over the hump and keep keepin on :)
