wrong order!

I'm so frustrated....I almost always log my food before I eat it so I won't go over. I did everything right today and still messed up. I ordered lunch today from panera bread, my order was repeated back to me three times and even the receipt was right, but when I opened it up it was a tuna salad sandwhich rather than the turkey that I ordered. It was good, so at least it turned out to be something edible, but it was 250 more calories than my turkey!
I couldn't go back because the roads are a mess and snowing and it took 30 minutes to get it as it was, and I had to eat it because I have nothing else to eat and it would have irked me to waste it. I was planning on working out anyway, but I wanted my exercise calories to go toward part of dinner and a snack later, now I am already 180 calories in the hole so some of my work out tonight will just be to climb out of the hole. :sad:

can you cut out a couple of small things you have scheduled for food for the rest of the day? That way you can add 10 more minutes of excercise which will burn 75-100 calories and that only leaves you 80 or so that you need to get rid of food wise...or go for quick 10 min walks or do the stairs at work or something.
That does suck to get what you didn't order. I have the problem with my little boys food so we always check it now before we drive off. I know it aggrevates the people behind me to wait, but it is better than my 6 yr old throwing a fit because there are pickles and mustard on his burger.
Good luck with however you try to make it up...maybe you can spread the 180 across the week to burn off.0 -
Never fret over a couple hundred calories. If you eat well during the week , you can have one blow out meal. Eating tuna out can be misleading..............0

i've been finding that over the last few weeks, packing lunch to work is really helping. i'm always in a rush in the morning, so i just simply through healthy snacks into a bag either at night or in the morning. then i have a variety of things to choose from whenever i'm able to eat my lunch and/or snacks.
then i don't feel like i have to go out and it saves money
i like to pack, low fat yogurt, granola/granola bars, fruit, peanut butter, low fat cottage cheese, etc.....

Yeah I normally pack a lunch, I usually only buy once a week or once every two weeks. But it was midnight and I was ready for bed when I realized I hadn't packed anything, and didn't really have much of anything to pack.0
