Need help with measuring out pasta

Im making spaghetti tonight..when I measure out my portion do I use dry weight or cooked weight?
I really want to get this right :laugh:

Dry pasta weighs about double when cooked, I always have about 50g dry0

Hello love
I find it easier to put the pot on the scale and zero it, then weigh out dry weight. Hardly ever eat pasta but when i do i do 50g for me and a separate pot with 90g for husband.
Then just use dry weight info in data base.

If having it with a portion of protein (fish, beans etc) I'll have 50g, but if the pasta is the centre piece of the dish with a nice sauce I'll have 75 to 100g dry! x0 -
I shall be having very lean mince steak with it and that will be the main part of it0
