So as some of you might know, I battle with an eating disorder and I'm trying really hard to recover, which I why I came back to this site, so I can use it for what it was meant to be used for. Anyways, I'm having the hardest time to actually get my net calories up. I'm never as hungry, and I'm a stable hand at a horse farm so I'm burning a ton of calories all the time! HELP! My mind is starting to play games with me and telling me that I'm doing good, but I'm trying so hard to make it realize I'm doing bad. I don't know how to get my net calorie intake up.

How about healthy, calorie-dense foods, such as:
- Peanut butter
- Nuts
- Avocado...etc.
- Fruit smoothies with Whey protein (you can use whole milk if you wish).
- Dairy products (milk, cheese, etc. - full fat versions)

If all else fails, my two personal favorites; bacon and ice-cream. Ok, so maybe not that nutritious, but yum!
Hope this helps.0 -
I used to work as a groom in a dressage barn. I don't know how I would have survived without eating and drinking a ton of water.
Scapez suggestions are all wonderful. Peanut butter and whole nuts have always been my go to items when I am low on calories. If you're struggling to eat, drink. A fruit and yogurt smoothie is a great choice.0
