    If you ate 1000 calories, you didn't eat too much. It's a psychological thing.

    I have no trouble eating a 1000 cals in one meal. I can eat 1500 and feel no pain. A rack a ribs, a couple serving of cashews. No problem at all:bigsmile:

    It is all about what food your eating. I'll look at the nutritional value of something like a piece of cake and think "that's more calories than I usually eat at a meal!! I can't eat that as a snack!!!"

    what?! I would love to know what you eat that makes it hard to consume 1000 calories in a meal. When I'm working to get all the nutrition in I'm fighting just to NOT eat that many calories a meal

    Still no problem a rack a ribs at outback with sweet potato and butter (2000 easy);
    a breast and wing meal with biscuit from Bojangles 1300 easy
    Then I'll yell what's for dessert.:laugh:
    Cheesecake factory Dulce de Leche Carmel Cheesecake two slices 2200 (that doesn't include half a sandwich 400)
    I:heart: fat.

    Only eating 1000 calories in a day could be stalling your weight loss. I believe you were on another thread today asking about weight loss surgery and saying how long it had taken for you to lose the weight. You may want to look into slowly increasing your calories a bit and see how that works for you.

    My weight loss stalled out before and I was told by an expert that I needed to eat a bit more. They were right.

    this is so true! Your matabolism will slow if you're not consuming enough calories. Eating breakfast first thing in the morning and eating enough calories thoughout the day will help your body work off the extra weight much more efficiently! And you'll probably feel better too!
