Help me!!

Of course MFP says I need to eat 1200 calories a day, but if I go and calculate it other places it says anything from 1700-1900 calories a day. I am not sure what is right, I have lost some weight and do lose some will power. But I have noticed I will get the urge to eat something bad and then I quickly change my mind or just doesn't taste that good to me anymore. Which I consider a good thing. I am open to opening up my dairy. As far as working out I am learning to make more time for it between work and going back to school. I need some advice.....HELP!!
