X-post. 5:2 plan

I just started the 5:2 this week. I did my 500 calorie days on Monday and Wednesday. All was fine, but then remembered reading that your first 2 week fast days should consist of shake type drinks. Am I remembering this correctly? Did you do that? Should I start all over next week with the drinks?

    I did two weeks of the 5:2 plan and no, I didn't do any shakes. I ate 3 meals 100, 200 and 200 and did just fine. I took this week off because I had things going on that it wouldn't work into, but plan to do it again next week. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I have a little trouble with eating supper too early and then end up starving about 8:00 pm.
