How is it used, it sounds like the number of calories burned during bicycling.

it just means that you cycle your calories with high and low days. So if your calorie goalis 1200 a day..you can go 1000 one day, then 1400 the next day and then 1100, 750 ...by the end of he week you should still average out to about 1200 a day you are just cycling high and low calorie days.

The premise is that by cycling your calorie our trick your metabolism into a higher burn rate, at least I believe that is correct. It is kind of like carb cycling,if you are familar with that?

I think you would have better luck cycling carbs...like low low med med high and then repeat....or you may want to read up on Intermittet Fasing..ineresting topic..

and good luck in your weight loss/health pursuits!

Remember you need to develop a plan and stick with it....!

Very interesting. I'm currently breastfeeding so going below MFP recommended 1200 calories isn't an option, even if I go higher on other days. I also have issues with wheat so I don't eat a lot of carbs anyways. I was more just curious as to what people were talking about. Thanks!

You can google a calorie cycling calculator that can give you a plan for the week based on what you want to lose, but since you're breastfeeding I'd get your doctor's okay first. I don't think it would make you go below 1200.
