People have finally stopped mistaking me for older than I am

So, I'm nineteen and a half, so by all accounts pretty damn young.

Back when I was overweight at eighteen, people perpetually mistook me for someone in at least my mid 20's. Which is still young by all accounts, but I was barely 18 and being mistaken for someone 7 years older. At this age that's not that bad of a thing (it meant I didn't get ID'd everywhere all the time, which was nice), but 10, 20 years down the line, it wouldn't be so great.

Since losing weight, that's stopped happening. In fact nowadays I can get away with child tickets on trains (gotta be 15 to buy those, woohoo!) and get ID'd everywhere, and while that's a small annoyance I'll take it over people thinking I'm way older than I am.

I'm barely just getting the hang of this whole 'being an adult' thing, I don't want people thinking I'm way into my 20's already :')

I know exactly what you mean! :S
People always thought I was 24-25 when I was 19 and 20. But now is a different story. Now they consider me young so I am thankfull for that.

I was going to buy a spraypainting bottle (you have to be 21 to buy it) and they refused to sell it to me withoui ID even though I AM 21 :) but I did not get annoyed, I just thought: yes! Another great NSV! Haha

When I was a kid (12 or so) people thought I was 17/18
Now that Im 27, everyone thinks Im early 20s...

    Mind you, at 12, I was 5'7 and 220lbs...
