Sweating

I don't have a lot of time to shower after my workout so I'm working out with a fan blowing on me so I won't sweat as much (I sweat terribly otherwise). Am I still getting the same workout even though I'm not sweating as badly? I feel like I didn't do a good job because I'm not dripping in sweat .

No, it doesn't make any difference. If anything, it would help - fatigue from being overheated can be detrimental to your workout. Sweating has zero to do with how hard you worked.0

Sweat just means you are good at keeping cool, a fan helps (think about how an evaporative cooler works) as it allows the sweat to evaporate, thus less is needed to stay cool. As said above it has nothing to do with calorie burn or workout intensity.0

Some of the treadmills at my gym have built in fans. I like those machines, because I'm more comfortable on them. I wish the ellipticals had a fan.0
