I wanted to know if anyone is taking supplements with there workouts and if so what kind and have they helped you?

I take:
1. Multi-vitamin
2. Fish oil
3. Vitamin D3
4. B-Complex
5. Calcium/magnesium/zinc/D
and I just added these in the last month to try to combat my creaky "old-lady" joints: :laugh:
6. Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM
7. Cod Liver Oil0 -

This is a good list. Just fyi, Cod Liver Oil and Fish Oil should serve the same purpose with the Omega 3 reducing inflamation.0 -
I take:
A very good multivitamin
Vitamin D
Vitamin E
Omega 3 fish oil
Fiber supplement
Occasional probiotics
Taking these daily has completely stopped the sugar/chocolate cravings. The fiber pills also really help to keep the appetite down0 -

i use protein powder and thats about it...i keep seeing repots that supplements arent as effective as food. like fish oil...just saw a report this week saying fish oil supplements were not effective and that eating fish was the only real way to get the omegas and such..0

I take a prenatal multivitamin and I use protein shakes post-workout. Every woman of childbearing age who is capable of getting pregnant and would carry to term if they did should be taking folic acid at a minimum (it's included in prenatals).0
