  • Add in the calories before you eat the food, that's what has helped me :)

Nothing is wrong. Some days are harder than others. Rember, if you are trying to loose weight, your allotted calories are there to do just that. If you go over by 50 or so, that's sill hundreads less than your maintenance level. It also helps to find food and drinks that help you feel full but really have no calories. Try some warm orange blossom or vanilla roobios tea (Starbucks Tazo). They help me fight off late night cravings. Also, I too add my food calories before I eat them!

Try to get in 30 minutes of exercise, so you have more calories to play with.

Ouch. Looking at your diary I'd say you have to spend some time looking at nutrition information for fast food joints. On 1400 calories per day it's REALLY hard to fit in pizza and stuff because it's so high in calories but really doesn't satisfy you.

Aim for a combination of protein and fiber at every meal - like meat and veggies, eggs and fruit... whatever you like, really. You could have peanut butter on sprouted grain bread (or even just a plain whole wheat bread if you like)... you'll be drastically cutting down the calories you eat while feeling way more satisfied.

It definitely takes more work to plan and prepare meals than it does to grab something on the go, but it's way worth the effort. There are only a couple of fast food things I'll eat - there's a sandwich at Tim Hortons that I like, which is 350 calories or the snack chicken burger at KFC is 260. Aside from those two things I don't touch fast food... it's just not worth it to me.

You can also exercise and you will get more calories to eat.

He said it! It will get easier. On the days I don't bring my lunch to work and have to eat out, I always go look up what I'm in the mood for to see where it will leave me calorie wise. Sometimes I decide I better eat something else and sometimes I can work it into my day. Just try to plan things out and it will help. If you do go over and can't get those calories back with exercise, just go on and try again the next day. :)
