Hello,

I just started with MyFitnessPal a few days ago and I was wondering, how do you record "weight" for abdominal crunches? Wouldn't there not be any extra weight (besides your upper body)? I'm not quite sure if I should put '0' or what, so any advice is appreciated!

I just leave that part blank for crunches.

I do too, but for a moment thought you were referring to adding weights onto your body when you do them. There is a guy here who puts 2 45 pound plates on his chest and holds them there as he does 3 sets of 10 crunches! Wowza! An old guy like me gets a hernia just thinking about it!
  • But if you put no weight, it does not calculate into any burned calories, or am I missing something?

If have to enter strength training under cardio in order for it to give you calorie information. The other part is to just keep track of numbers.
