I have used tracking sites before to get an idea of my daily caloric intake. I came across this site when searching for a good 'free' iPhone APP for calorie tracking. I'm excited about holding myself accountable using these tools.

I'm a very active person. I run, lift weights, yoga, pilates 4 to 6 times per week. I am running my 2nd marathon at the end of February 2010.

I'm up 5 holiday lbs and hope to shed those extra pounds within the next few weeks. Once I'm back down to my pre-holiday weight, I hope to lose 5 to 7 more pounds, and get a good idea of what my nutrition values are per day.

I have also invited my mother, 2 sisters, and best friend to join the site. I would like to be an encouraging, good example for them and I hope that they will engage in the community aspect of the site as well.

I look forward to sharing this journey with all of you.
