Logging sports where you rotate in and out of the game

I play ice hockey and the games are about 60 minutes long. I'm on the ice for about half of that. I'm not sure if I should log 30 minutes of activity, since that is what I'm actually playing (I trade off shifts with another player about every 60 seconds) or if I should log 60 minutes since my heart rate probably stays up the entire game. It's basically like running intervals but I'm sitting or standing on the bench during the "resting" instead of walking.

What does everyone else do when you're playing a sport where you rotate in and out of the game? Or doing an interval-type cardio exercise where your "resting" is literally standing or sitting?

Ice hockey burns about 300 calories per 30 minutes so it's a big difference if I log 60 instead of 30 minutes.

Thanks!!
