About a week and a half ago I had my gallbladder removed. I would like to get back in the gym, but I need to take it slow. I have tried weight training (I had a spotter there ready to tell me you are done) safely, and that is a no go. Jumping is also a no go since it hurts. I can't swim since I still have to heal from the entry points. I am fully mobile however, able to walk as much as I want, and able to run short distances. I am able to do yoga. I am going to stick with the P90X yoga routine, but feel like I should be doing more. I don't know how to right a well balance calisthenics work out. I was hoping some of you could help me.
I am looking for something that will improve overall fitness, and help me pass my AF PT test (push-ups, sit-ups, and 1.5 mile run). It needs to be someone easy since I am recovering, but I need to be able to make it more difficult as I get better and closer to a full recovery.
Please only leave constructive criticism. I am aware healing takes time, but even my doctor recommends I get back to the gym. Thank you in advanced.

I'm going to have foot surgery soon...It means i won't be able to walk for a while...If I have to buy a used wheelchair on craigslist and wheel myself around on it to get my cardio in, I'm going to do it. There is also a table with something that looks like bicycle pedals on it, for disable people that I plan to use at the gym. I will also walk with crutches or a walker, just as soon as I can. I don't want to gain back any of the fat I have worked so hard to lose.
Hopefully I will still be able to do upper body weight lifting, and hopefully my foot won't affect my legs, so I might be able to get my leg workouts in, too.0
