Cardio and Weight Lifting

Options
Hi,

I am fine tuning my workout schedule and I am just interested in what others do.

This is what I am thinking:

Monday and Wednesday: 35 minute whole body lifting and 30 minute elliptical and ab work

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 30 minute cardio and ab work

Saturday: Shred it Video

I would love to know what you do and what you think of my plan. Not enough of something?? Too much of something?? Am I lifting enough. The Shred it video uses the kettleball and cardio.

Thanks for the help,
Candie

What will your lifting cosist of? If you're doing compound freeweight exercises ab work is unnecessary. Good call on doing the cardio AFTER the weights though - I personally think it's much safer that way around.

All that ab work is unnecessary.

I like it. Listen to your body in case it doesn't or if you need to up weights etc.

What are your goals? If they are body recomposition-to help keep as much possible muscle while losing fat, I'd switch and do the weight training 3x a week instead of 2. I, too, think all the ab work is overkill.
So Mon, Wed, Fri-full circuit weights and 30 min cardio
Tues/Thursday- 30 min cardio and ab work
