Depression With the Change of Lifestyle

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to put this.

I've only just started out on MFP, and I have been very successful this week (first time to weigh myself will be tomorrow). While I have truly enjoyed exercising (walking and swimming), I've found that at night, my mood can be extremely low. I have been attributing this to the mourning of my old lifestyle, and I just wondered if anyone else felt the same, and if so, how do I combat this?

    It is just adjusting to the new. I can remember starting out and missing being able to just eat and not worry about making sure it fit in my calorie goal or just going through a drive thru and getting whatever I want. it takes time to adjust to this change. You can do it. You just have to have it in your mind that you want this change and everyday gets a little better. You need to celebrate what you have accomplished. Just by getting off the couch everyday you are changing your life. Celebrate the small stuff!!! You can do this! Just get it in your mind that you are going to be a new you!!!!
