I have always hated housework, but...I think I might just start to like it a bit more. I am just getting into walking and I have to push REALLY hard to walk for 30 minutes at 2.5 mph. However I did 2 hours heavy house cleaning today and guess what?...I burned the same number of calories as I would have done walking for the same length of time. At least I was able to do the 2 hours cleaning....walking for the same length of time is definitely a non starter for me.
