"Mock"Griddles w/Sausage, Egg and Cheese:
Calories 223
Total Fat 6 g
Total Carbs 14 g
Protein 29 g
Recipe:
Maple Grove Farms - Low Calorie Syrup, Sugar Free, 1/8 cup
Mccormick's - Pure Vanilla Extract, 0.5 tsp.
Designer Whey Protein - French Vanilla Flavor, 0.5 scoop
Spices - Cinnamon, ground, 0.5 tsp
Eggs - White only, raw, 2 large (separated, you will need one to cook and one to mix your pancake batter)
Kraft Fat Free Sharp Cheddar - Cheese Slices, 1 slice
Sausage - Turkey Smoked Sausage, 2 ozs, sliced thin
Mix in a bowl: Protein powder, 1 egg white, vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup. Mix with a fork until it is well blended. Divide evenly into two portions and grill on a hot griddle, sprayed with nonstick spray. Cook a few minutes (just like pancakes), then flip and continue cooking until puffy and fully cooked.
In a separate pan, cook the other egg white. Warm your turkey smoked sausage by your method of choice - I usually just microwave for about 30 seconds. Assemble with 1 cake on bottom, then egg, 1 slice fat free cheddar and the sausage. Top with the second cake and enjoy!
Just had this for breakfast this morning! So good!
