How does everyone feel about using Walden Farms no sugar, no calorie, no fat products?
I think it's great for sauces, but are there any negatives I should be aware of?

They are literally just jars of chemicals in order to create a substance that resembles the product it's mimicking in taste and texture. I bought a couple out of sheer curiosity once and the smell when I opened the first jar was so bad I actually had to choke back a gag reflex to vomit. I can't tell you what I thought of the taste because I couldn't bring myself to bring it near my face again.

Also keep in mind that, in the US, companies can legally put zero calories on a label if it's under five calories. So if you do choose to use the products to stick to the serving sizes and don't just use a half a jar/bottle on something thinking you aren't eating any calories.

I feel the products are DISGUSTING. Just as the previous poster said, it's just jars full of chemicals, and the couple that I HAVE tried taste like *kitten*. Matter of fact, I think I prefer *kitten* over Walden Farms products.

If it works for you, go for it. ;)

They look so awful!! My dad wanted me to buy him the Walden Farms peanut butter one day, I took one look at the ingredients on the back, and put it up. There's not a SINGLE peanut in the jar! Just chemicals, chemicals, chemicals. Normally, I don't make a big deal out of packaged foods. I don't mind a bit of HFCS or aspartame, but Walden Farms completely disgusted me.
